Your Stay with Us

Put quite simply, once you arrive in Palma airport, you can leave everything to us.  Your transfer, be it private or group, will quickly whisk you across the island to your chosen hotel, where a warm welcome is assured, from the teams of Zafiro Hotels and Total Velo. 

 

For most, the focus shifts quickly to the bike.  That could be taking delivery of your hire bike, or maybe assembling your own bike.  Don't worry, we can recommend local bike hire comapnies, and help with assembling your own bike.  Once you have your bike ready, the real fun is about to start.  

 

During your complimentary welcome drink, we will offer you an informal safety briefing, and we will raise a toast to a super week (or longer), and look forward to the coming days.    

 

On a typical day in Mallorca, rides generally start daily at 10:00 (unless it’s a truly epic ride!). All of our riding groups, from the slowest to the fastest, feature a cafe stop.  With our guides' extensive knowledge of the island, even your cafe stops will be memorable. 

 

From the lunch stop, it's time to ride for home, which can vary in intensity from a steady tempo, to a fast and challenging ‘through and off’ session for some.  Then it’s time to relax, be it in the hotel spa, the bar, swimming lengths of the heated pool, or simply relaxing in your room. 

 

Once the evening comes, it’s time to visit the hotel restaurant for our amazing buffet selection.  There you'll find a wide (and plentiful) choice of food, to suit every athlete's needs, including vegetarian options.

 

The day normally ends with plenty of banter, where the day is dissected, and such things as power numbers, mileages, elevations and training stress scores are analysed and compared.  Regardless of the numbers, we never lose sight of our main goal, which is having fun!  So we are onto yet another day of excitement...

+ A standard airport transfer would be for a group of three or more clients sharing the same airport transfer.  Due to the high cost of private airport transfers, we are forced to apply a surcharge for arrivals of 1-2 persons.  Naturally we will always look to group our clients, with similar arrival times, together to avoid these surcharges wherever possible.
